Counseling Core Curriculum & Activities
During the month of December students will continue to receive instruction in personal body safety. The lessons are designed to be age-appropriate and are used in all elementary schools in Dorchester School District Two. Lessons will focus on preventive instruction, self-awareness, and courage. Beech Hill counselors will follow the formats provided by The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and The Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center Foundation.
During the month of January, Beacons will explore future goals and aspirations through CAPS lessons incorporating insight and self-awareness.
