The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and
staff are effective users of ideas and information. Using the resources
of the Library Media Center, all students and staff will have the
opportunity to locate and process information, create and produce
products that reflect learning, and expand their horizons. They also
will will be introduced to, and have the opportunity to explore and
read, many different forms of literature. This center will serve as an
alternative learning space where users can: discover the world around
them through the use of technology and play, read for enjoyment, or find
a quiet space for reflection and study.
