| The Dorchester School District Two breakfast and lunch program exceeds state standards as to quantity and quality of food served. Complete hot lunches and breakfast, including milk, are served daily. Children are encouraged to bring a check (made payable to BHES) the first day of each school week or month. Breakfast costs $.85 a day, and lunch costs $1.40. Free and reduced forms are sent home on the first day of school and are always available in our office. It is the responsibility of students to keep up with their own money. Young children often misplace cash or forget to turn it in. These issues are avoided when parents pay by check. Please note that students are not permitted to bring carbonated drinks to school.
